"These devices were found in the Ba’ashiqa and Khazir areas around the Mosul villages of N. Iraq after ISIS had been evicted by the Kurdish Forces. ISIS/ISIL have laid thousands of improvised landmines in huge Improvised, multi rowed Minefields throughout the Khazir area. These huge Improvised Barrier Minefields are designed to stop and delay Kurdish/Iraqi Forces from entering the area. The VS-500 (nickname) is a purpose made Plastic Mine manufactured by ISIS in the Mosul area in one of the local Plastics factories."
